During the week of July 21st through 24th, Wise County PCT #2 with the help of Alvord Public Works will commence repairs on the designated sections of Mosley Street, Lamar Street, and Driskill Street. The repair process will involve grinding the existing pavement, applying a base layer, and subsequently paving with asphalt. After the base has been installed, it will require a setting period before the final asphalt layer can be applied. Wise County PCT #2 and Alvord Public Works will return at a later date, prior to the start of the school year, to complete the paving. During this construction period, the affected areas will be closed to through traffic, and all vehicles must be removed from the side of the road.
