ON 2025-2026 BUDGET
The City of Alvord will hold a public hearing on August 18th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. for the adoption of the 2025-2026 Budget and a public hearing for the adoption of the Tax Rate. This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by $136,305.06 which is a 23.99% increase from last year’s budget.
A copy of the budget is available for public viewing at Alvord City Hall, 215 West Elm Street, Alvord, Texas. All interested citizens are invited to appear and be heard.
