ON 2025-2026 BUDGET
The City of Alvord will hold a public hearing on the 2025-2026 Proposed Budget and a public hearing on the Proposed Tax Rate on August 11th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by $138,319.97 which is a 22.27% increase from last year’s budget.
A copy of the budget is available for public viewing at Alvord City Hall, 215 West Elm Street, Alvord, Texas. All interested citizens are invited to appear and be heard.
