Do you fill swimming pools, wet down arenas, fill stock tanks? No. It is essential for us to prioritize our emergency response readiness in order to effectively serve our community. Consequently, we believe it would be more efficient to have our truck available for potential structure fires, rather than being occupied with other tasks. This will enable us to respond promptly and effectively with a fully equipped apparatus to meet the needs of our community.

What training do you have to have to be on the department? No formal training is required to join the department as we provide training. It is necessary to have Firefighter I certification completed before responding to a structure fire, which we facilitate internally.

Do you accept out of district members?In order to become a member, you are required to reside within our designated fire district.
