Frequently Asked questions

Do you fill swimming pools, wet down arenas, fill stock tanks? We do not do these things. We do not feel it is in the best interest in serving our community if we have a truck out performing these tasks and we receive a call for a structure fire. We need to be able to respond with a fully prepared apparatus to serve our community to the best of our ability.

What training do you have to have to be on the department? You do not need any formal training to join the department. We will train you. You must have Firefighter I completed prior to responding to a structure fire. We take care of this in house.

Do you accept out of district members? You must live within in our fire district to be a member.
